About Stephanie

Stephanie is a knowledge seeker, mindfulness teacher, writer, researcher, advocate, steward of the earth, world traveler, foodie, wife, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has supported individuals, families, and communities as a healthcare professional, social worker, psychotherapist, and researcher. Her specialty is helping people to heal from trauma.

Mindfulness came to her at a point in her life when she was burning the candle at both ends and developed an autoimmune disorder. Mindfulness and yoga became her medicine. It helped her to eliminate pain and stress in her body, create greater strength and stamina, and develop a deeper connection with her mind, body, and spirit.

As a psychotherapist and social worker, yoga and mindfulness has helped her to manage her energy, especially when holding space for others and their difficult stories. She is fascinated by the science of mindfulness and have applied many techniques in her personal and professional practice.

She is proudly a member of Growga because she believes that everyone should have the opportunity to access approachable yoga and mindfulness. Through this work we are increasing the wellbeing and resiliency of individuals and communities.
