Words from Our Community

I oversee programming for a large youth-serving organization that is spread out all over the Triangle. Emily and the Growga team have worked with us to help support our focus on SEL and character development by teaching mindfulness to youth in our programs. They have done this by helping equip our staff through trainings and professional development experiences. We have been specifically focused on teaching the practice of emotion management- Mindfulness is an awesome strategy for teaching youth to manage their emotions. In sharing our goals with Emily and the Growga team, they have been able to create professional development opportunities to support our focus/goals. In addition, the Growga instructors have directly taught mindfulness and yoga classes to youth and families in our school, family and sports programs with rave reviews! Growga is a great partner and I highly recommend them!
— Kim Keith, VP of Youth Programming, YMCA of the Triangle
“All the parents I spoke to said it was so innovative and imaginative, and were very impressed by the way they handled the little ones. It was a great introduction to how yoga can be tailor fit for any age group (even for Jeff and I😊). Growga rocked it!”
— Jeff and Aaron, Tanger Outlets
“My teenage daughter loves the teen growga class! The teacher has a warm, fun, light way with the kids.”
— Emily
“I took my 3 year old to a class and was blown away! Not only by how much my daughter loved the class, but how she listened to the teacher and how much she learned! She talked about the class topics for days after and I’d find her practices the yoga moves. She even remembered them for her next classes! The teachers are so creative and amazing with the kids - they make it educational and fun!”
