About Sofia

Sofia comes to Growga with extensive children’s programming experience. Prior to her work with Growga, Sofia served as the Staff Director at Rockbrook Camp for Girls and the Director of Team Development at Marbles Kids Museum.

As a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Sofia’s offerings focus on trauma-informed mindfulness practices that aim to be nurturing, compassionate, and welcoming of all “humanness.” Beyond sharing yoga & meditation with children, Sofia has had the joy of sharing mindfulness practices with vot-ER, Duke University’s Department of Psychiatry, and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center.
