About Melissa

Melissa, RYT, RYPT-85, first started practicing yoga in 2007 while in college, and fell in love with the way that practicing yoga allowed her to silence her mind and reconnect with herself. When she moved to Chapel Hill in 2015, she started consistently doing yoga and quickly discovered how necessary yoga was in preserving my mental, emotional, and physical health. She wanted to help others experience the serenity she did while practicing yoga, and completed Carolina Yoga Company’s 200-hour YTT, along with their Whole Mama Yoga 85-hour Prenatal YTT.

In Melissa's classes, she creates an encouraging environment where students can find their own mental, emotional, and physical balance so that they can bring  harmony into their daily lives.
