Growga Community Ambassador Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates that are passionate about introducing mindfulness to families and children. As part of the Growga team, you will work within schools, organizations, businesses, and fitness/yoga studios to make mindfulness accessible to children, families, and educators. We have a community of instructors that share resources and work together to make a large impact on their communities. We know it’s not easy working alone, so we provide a supportive network of teachers to help you on your journey as a teacher and partitioner.

Our Community Ambassadors are the backbone of our program, helping us create connections within the region to bring the Growga program to children and families in their communities. As a Growga Ambassador, you will lead the Growga program within your community by recruiting teachers, managing schedules, establishing partnerships, and promoting the Growga program within your region.

The Growga program includes three components: social emotional learning, yoga, and mindfulness. Through research-backed and evidence-based techniques, we create engaging, age-appropriate classes that give students the skills needed to cope with stresses of life, as well as foster leadership, teamwork, resiliency, and self-love.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 + years experience working with children

  • Certified Growga Teacher (To become a Growga certified teacher, you must complete a Growga training based on your experience level and complete a background check and CPR training.)

  • Personal Mindfulness and/or Yoga Practice

  • Strong ties to your community

Preferred Certification and Experience:

  • RYT-200 or more and/or RCYT

  • Mindfulness Coach

  • Yoga Teacher and/or Children’s Yoga Teacher

  • Experience leading a team

  • Marketing and/or Social Media Marketing Experience

  • Experience with MailChimp

Job responsibilities:

  • Teach Growga classes

  • Promote your classes to your community via social media

  • Send out promotional emails via Mailchimp

  • Initiate relationships with like-minded partners in your community for Growga events and classes

  • Attend and co-lead quarterly webinars or teacher community events

  • Recruit potential Growga teachers

  • Initiate and lead community events

  • Handle all administrative duties for Growga in your region

All Growga Community Ambassadors must have completed the Growga trainings and be part of the Growga Mentorship Program.
